FUN RUN WAS SEPTEMBER 30, 2022

  Each student participates by obtaining sponsors who pledge money towards running around the school’s jogging path (approximately one-third of a mile) for 15 minutes.  Fun Run is one, of two, annual fundraisers organized by the Parent Advisory Council (PAC).   Our eager Eagles will be asking parents, relatives, and neighbors to pledge money, (per lap or a flat rate), and then will run their little hearts out to maximize their contribution. 

This year, we're offering an on-line pledge request option! 
You can e-mail pledge requests, allow your family and friends to make secure credit card donations on-line, and track your pledge progress.

The money raised supports student education and enrichment by providing teachers and administration with the ability to purchase supplies (things like books, musical instruments, furniture), go on field trips, do art enrichment projects, hold assemblies, upgrade playground equipment, have class room parties, and much more.   See more example below

WHERE EXACTLY DOES THE MONEY GO?

With the generous support from the community, the money raised allows us to enrich the educational community at Archer Glen by:

• Bringing in high-quality assemblies for all students,
• Pesenting the Art Literacy program 

• Purchasing critical classroom supplies (PE included) & musical instruments  
• Helping to pay, in full or in part, for various field trips as well as 5th grade BizTown and 4th grade Oregon Overnight
• Supplying technology such as iPads, Kindles, & Chromebooks​

Employee Charitable Matching Funds
If your employer has a matching program, please take advantage of the additional money your child can raise by requesting the matching funds from your employer. Please contact your employer's HR department for the appropriate forms.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

This is a fun and exciting event to be involved with, but it takes a lot of manpower. We will be looking for parents to help with preparing packets early in September, assorted tasks during the event, tallying pledge money after the event and distributing ice cream if they meet their goal.
