FUN RUN is SEPTEMBER 27, 2024
The Fun Run is not only something students look forward to each year, but it’s also Archer Glen’s largest fundraiser! The Fun Run is scheduled for Friday, September 27. Each student participates in the Fun Run by collecting monetary donations to run in the Fun Run. The money raised goes to support student education and enrichment by providing teachers and administrators with the funds needed to purchase supplies.
Last year’s Fun Run raised $41,000 which went towards:
The grand prize for the classroom with the highest dollar amount of contributions gets to go to Adam's Screenprint and design and print their own T-Shirts!
How you can help: Students will be sent home with an envelope on 9/13/24. The Fun Run is scheduled for Friday, 9/27/24. During the interim two weeks students are encouraged to solicit donations from family, friends, and Sherwood supporters

- Redoing the staff work room (new and improved supplies)
- Teacher grants (a yearly amount we give teachers per student in their class)
- And much more

Employee Charitable Matching Funds
If your employer has a matching program, please take advantage of the additional money your child can raise by requesting the matching funds from your employer. The money raised supports student education and enrichment by providing teachers and administration with the ability to purchase supplies (things like books, musical instruments, furniture), go on field trips, do art enrichment projects, hold assemblies, upgrade playground equipment, have class room parties, and much more. We Need Your Help!

We will be looking for parents to help with preparing packets early in September, assorted tasks during the event, tallying pledge money after the event and distributing ice cream if they meet their goal.
